A fun and family oriented place to walk and bike ride . The artistic adjustments they have added to the tunnel is so beautiful also there is a coffee shop and snow cone stand you can walk up the steps to access as you walk down the trace and it’s wonderful.

Lol this is,a rails to trails bike / hiking path. We only had time to do a few miles. But it was well paved. And after just a couple of miles it felt like you were miles away. Its very shady. Which was great. But at the same time the isolation could spook a timid soul. If your going alone, personally I think pepper spray might be a good idea. We saw nothing wrong other than a homeless man sleeping next to everyone trail.

Great experience riding bikes on the trace. It is well maintained and the restrooms were very clean.

What a great trail. So worth the 400 mi we drove to get here. We stayed right off the trail so it was very convenient. Althiugh we didnt see overcrowded parking lots. Everyone we encountered was courteous. The condition was the trail is great. Very little bumps, nice and wide and LOTS of shade. There are also rest stops and toilets along the way. It can get a little tedious with all the street crossings near town, but seems like yiu can ride forever going away from town. They lose a couple of points for not bottle fillers though, but it's a great trail to truly put on some miles or ride into town for lunch and back.

The best parking and starting area. Restrooms available. Best to go toward I59. Immediate tunnels and bridges. Very nice biking trail. We went 38 miles round trip on ebikes.

Well paved, wide, long trail. Lots of parking of any kind including campers, dogs allowed with leash.

I love this trail (43 miles long) and it’s the best one in the state of MS. I spent a lot of time on it when I was completing my pre-requisites for pharmacy school. It’s what I miss most about Hattiesburg especially since I’m cycling. I also noticed that they have a camera in the pavilion near office. They have added updates since I last rode in 2019; pumps for tires, place to charge electric cars, painted bridges, added grasses etc. The trail is very well maintained and they also allow you to rent a bike. The bikes are very dated and seem they should invest in newer ones. I highly recommended this trail!

Great ride. Ten miles out and ten miles back. The path was wide and shady.
